Brian utilises the latest evidenced based manual therapy techniques when treating his patients for the variety of conditions with which they present. His central focus is to identify and work towards changing any biomechanical problems that may contribute to his patient's symptoms. Brian utilises the Muscle energy techniques as well as his many other skills to achieve his results. In addition to his efforts with manual therapy treatment, Brian always attempts in his words to “empower individuals” for the management of their musculoskeletal health. He does this by always ensuring that his patients have a thorough understanding of their condition and what they need to do to get better.
An interview with Brian
Ok Brian what are you doing for fitness yourself?
BP: Well in a past life I was a very keen rower. I have rowed in the still water arena as well as in surfboats. I was also a rowing coach for some time at St. Joseph 's College at Hunters Hill however I have now retired from all of that.
Does that mean no exercise?
BP: No I now enjoy some swimming and cycling as well as riding my old mal when the surf is up. I am also considering a return to rowing but for now I am just enjoying the surf too much.
